Compassionate, evidence-based therapy tailored to you

Welcome to Values & Vitality Psychotherapy. We offer virtual psychotherapy across Ontario for adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, and life transitions. Grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), our sessions help you step back from unhelpful thoughts, make room for tough emotions, and build a meaningful life aligned with your core values.

Areas of focus

Whether you are dealing with chronic stress or navigating a pivotal life change, our virtual therapy sessions offer a warm, culturally responsive space designed to help you regain your vitality and focus on what truly matters.

Anxiety, panic, and depression

Support for persistent worry, racing thoughts, panic attacks, social anxiety, low mood, feelings of hopelessness, and a loss of motivation in day-to-day life.

Trauma, stress, and burnout

Gentle guidance through traumatic memories and emotional overwhelm, helping you recover from chronic workplace exhaustion, caregiver stress, and nervous system fatigue.

Adolescent and transition care

Specialized virtual care for teens and adults addressing school pressure, perfectionism, self-criticism, difficult relationship boundaries, and major life changes.

When everyday challenges begin to feel overwhelming

Most people reach out when constant overthinking, harsh self-criticism, people-pleasing, or painful past experiences start interfering with daily life. You do not need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say before getting in touch. Therapy provides a thoughtful, non-judgmental space to unpack your feelings at your own pace.

Our approach with acceptance and commitment therapy

Rather than exhausting all your energy trying to control or eliminate uncomfortable feelings, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps you relate to your thoughts differently. Together, we identify patterns like avoidance, overthinking, and fear of failure that keep you feeling stuck. You will develop practical tools to step back from self-criticism, make room for difficult emotions, and take meaningful steps toward the life you want, even when uncertainty arises.

Getting started is simple and reassuring

Starting therapy begins with four clear steps: First, schedule a brief consultation online at a time that works for you. Next, we will discuss what you are experiencing and what you hope to get out of therapy. Then, we will explore whether my approach is the right fit for your needs, completely free of pressure. Finally, we schedule your first 50-minute virtual session and begin working toward your personal goals.
